regarding my photobook, #mymarks: I wanted to create a photobook that gives insight to my use of color, my mark on the canvas and the conversation in my artwork. After much thought, I decided on the mini format, then humor, seduction, and emotion took over the design... Of course, after all, I am an expressionist. How do I get people to pick up my book, among hundreds of books? Can I make the viewer smile? Most importantly, can I get someone to want to know more about me and my story, not just look at the collections of photographs.
