after a fun packed summer i am back to the studio tomorrow to begin work for two upcoming exhibitions.
i look forward to getting to know my new studio. i moved down the hall to a new space and we have to get to know each other. it has a gallery and the work space has light like no other studio i have had before. although i have not been actually painting i have been drawing. i just returned from maine, where the air was pine filled and cool. i pulled out the pastels and worked small on some little landscapes, that are like candy. before summer i began a new series on aluminum, i am excited to begin exploring the surface and talking to it with my paints.
check back soon.
