The Carnegie Art Center will present a workshop featuring three artists: Anne Bliss, Dorothy Fitzgerald, and A.J. Fries whom have successfully leveraged online media tools to promote their work. Anne Bliss of Bliss Designs has a impressive Twitter following and online store, Dorothy Fitzgerald has a blog where images of new work can be viewed, and A.J. Fries recently created a Facebook Fan Page for his paintings. All three have utilized online media sources to increase visibility of new work, stay connected with their audience, and in some cases translate that into sales or exhibition opportunities. Each will speak about their unique experiences with online media, discuss what techniques have worked best for them and answer questions from workshop attendees.
